The Ixtla Hotel takes its name from the municipality of Ixtlahuaca in the State of Mexico, since it is located on one of its main highways.

The central cylinder of the facade was finished in red Alucobond to give it emphasis and to be the visual finishing touch of the facade. In the lateral elements you can see the windows of the rooms that emerge from two large curved walls that, together with the cylinder, give a lot of dynamism to the building.

Two color ranges were used in the interiors. The first for all common areas, based on raw colors such as white and beige, supported by red accents. In the spaces of the bar and the restaurant “La grill Ixtlahuaca” the range continued in the tablecloths and chairs. A screen with geometric figures serves to divide spaces and give them privacy.

The second range of colors was used in the rooms, where the red was replaced by a lemon green tone to provide light to the interior. The space for the bed is the centerpiece of the room, all of them are surrounded by a wooden belt that begins on the floor, continues along the walls and runs along the ceiling, thus completely surrounding the space of the bed. The indirect light placed around the entire perimeter of the belt helps us separate spaces and give a feeling of spaciousness to the space.

To complement the decoration, large-scale images of flowers were used, providing a touch of sensuality within the space. The bone upholstered armchair and the staple-shaped table are the accessories that complete the rooms.

Granite countertops and stainless-steel sinks were placed in the wet area. The jacuzzi is oval and in sand color to respect the range.
